The Authors@UF Bookshelf includes videos with authors from Authors@UF, book covers, citation information, short descriptions of books, and more related to UF Authors. The Authors@UF Bookshelf may include additional book cover displays, like those from CRL and the UF Department of English.
The Authors@UF Bookshelf supports the Authors@UF Program, which is:
Authors@UF is a program of the Smathers Libraries Campus Conversations series, and is designed to showcase UF authors and their scholarship while providing a forum for discussion and communication between the author and the campus community and beyond. The primary focus is on UF authors of monographs but is not limited to book authors. Ideally, the authors series will be held four times per academic year, twice in each of the fall and spring semesters. The program format is flexible and might range from informal conversation to author lecture/Q&A, and include an author presentation and readings, and a discussion.
Thanks to Sid Dobrin and Terry Harpold from the UF Department of English for pointing the Libraries' to Clemson's Faculty Bookshelf for inspiring this collection.
