Radical Women contains the Radical Women in Gainesville collection, which documents the valiant history of women in the Gainesville Women's Liberation Movement. Radical Women in Gainesville is comprised of photos, oral histories, self-published newsprints, newsletters, brochures, notes from feminist organizations, and other original documents. While commemorating the uppity women who helped reform the conservative Gainesville college town in the 1970s, this compilation also preserves artifacts for future generations to access for research and empowerment.

Radical Women and Radical Women in Gainesville are growing collections. More materials will be added as they are located and Internet Distribution Permissions are obtained. If you would like to contribute archives to this developing collection or if you have any questions, please contact us.
